Job description
Published by Synthesia. The company's advert prevails.
Synthesia is the world’s leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US.
As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations.
Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow.
Lead Brand Designer
The Role
You’ll own how Synthesia shows up in every physical moment around the world, from global events and workspaces to the digital experiences that surround them. You’ll report to the Director of Brand Design, and join a team of seven brand and motion designers, leading our events and physical brand work.
What You’ll Do
Set the visual direction for our presence at trade shows, conferences and owned customer events
Design booths, spatial environments, signage, print assets and merchandise, from concept through to production
Develop cohesive event identities across physical and digital touchpoints, including presentations, social and event web
Storyboard and design motion and screen-based content for events and keynotes
Own office and workplace design projects end-to-end
Select, brief and manage vendors, agencies and fabricators, including budget and quality control
Partner with Field Marketing and build event kits and templates so smaller events can run self-serve
We’d love to hear from you if you have
A hands-on track record owning physical and event design end-to-end, not just contributing to it
Proven experience designing physical environments and real-world brand experiences
Deep knowledge of print production and large-format design
Strong craft in typography and layout, and in translating brand across physical, digital and motion
Fluency in Figma, with the ability to produce production-ready files in Adobe Illustrator
Experience directing agencies and vendors, including negotiation and budgets
A producer mindset: balancing creative ambition with feasibility, timelines and budget, while owning your work in a low-process environment
Strong written and spoken communication in English
We’d be particularly excited if
You have experience at a B2B or technology company
You use AI tools to speed up ideation, iteration or content creation
You have built sites in no-code tools such as Webflow or Splash
You have mentored designers, or have basic 3D modular or industrial design knowledge
